CHING-CHUN LIN

Currently teach at the music department of National Taipei University of Education as a full-time professor and band director, adjunct professor at the National Chiao Tung University Music Institute and the Department of Music, Chinese Culture University . 

Received a master degree in clarinet performance from the Peabody Institute in 1995, and DMA degree from the University of Minnesota in 1998.

In 1993, he was awarded a scholarship from Peabody Conservatory, In 1996, he was selected as an teaching assistant in the Music Department of the University of Minnesota, and the principal clarinetist of the University of Minnesota Symphony Orchestra.

He perform frequently in the National Concert Hall in Taipei and cultural centers in Taiwan, and invited to perform clarinet concerto with many orchestras. Beside his performance in Taiwan, he also be invited to performed in Singapore, International Clarinet Music Festival in Japan, Clarinet Festival in Xi'an, China, and various cities of China, concert in the International Mozart Clarinet Competition at the Beijing Central Conservatory of music. He also founded and executed the Black Magic Clarinet Festival in 2018.

In 2014, he was elected as the chairman of the Taiwan Band Association.
