CHING-CHUN LIN
Currently teach at the music department of National Taipei University of Education as a full-time professor and band director, adjunct professor at the National Chiao Tung University Music Institute and the Department of Music, Chinese Culture University .

Received a master degree in clarinet performance from the Peabody Institute in 1995, and DMA degree from the University of Minnesota in 1998.

In 1993, he was awarded a scholarship from Peabody Conservatory, and received a full scholarship from the Music Department of the University of Minnesota in 1995. In 1996, he was selected as an teaching assistant in the Music Department of the University of Minnesota, where he taught as a Clarinet Individual Course, Chamber Music, and the principal clarinetist of the University of Minnesota Symphony Orchestra.

1997 become a member of Ted Mann Musicians of Minnesota, performing regularly in the Ted Mann Concert Hall and traveling perform in the Minnesota area. In 1997, he was invited to perform with the Norwegian Bergen Woodwind Quintet at the Ted Mann Concert Hall.

In 1998, he returned to Taiwan and was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Music at the National Hsinchu University of Education. In 2001, he was employed as a full-time professor at the National Taipei National University of Education. Active in the clarinet playing, teaching and music promotion .

He perform frequently in the National Concert Hall in Taipei and cultural centers in Taiwan, and invited to perform clarinet concerto with many orchestras. In 1999, Singapore Art Association invited him to perform chamber music with members of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. In the same year, National University of Singapore invited him to held clarinet recital and master class in the art center . In 2001, he formed the Elite trio, with pianist Jasmine Chiang and cellist Chen Jianan touring performed all major cities in Taiwan and Singapore.

In July 2005, he was invited to perform at the International Clarinet Music Festival in Japan. In the same year, he held recital and master class at the "Clarinet Festival" in Xi'an, China. In August 2009, he was invited to perform recitals and master classes at the "China Clarinet and Saxophone Festival" held in Taiyuan, China. During 2009-2011, he was invited to perform nine concerts in various cities of China .In 2012, he was invited to be the judge and perform a concert in the International Mozart Clarinet Competition at the Beijing Central Conservatory of music.

Since 2006, he has been an executive director of the Taiwan Band Association. In 2014, he was elected as the chairman of the Taiwan Band Association.
