Yu-Ting Huang, violin

Yu-Ting Huang is a native Taiwanese violinist. She performs recitals at venues throughout Taiwan, such as at the National Recital Hall of Taiwan, and appeared as a soloist with the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra and Taipei Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Huang has been awarded a scholarship from the “Treasury of Taiwan Young Musicians Project”. 

Huang received her Doctor of Musical Arts at Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey where she was a full scholarship fellow student with Todd Phillips; she obtained her Master of Music and Artist Diploma at Yale school of music as a full scholarship student of Syoko Aki, and her Bachelor of Music was awarded by National Taiwan Normal University. 

As an active chamber music musician, Huang has performed chamber music at Markin Hall in New York and has been invited to tour in Taiwan. Previously, Huang was the principal second violin and acting Concertmaster at the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra (Taiwan). Currently, she serves as the Assistant Professor at the University of Taipei.

Her debut album “Her Story, Listen to Her” released in Fall 2021.
