Taiwanese Pianist Jen-Ru Sun began her professional training in 1990. She completed the doctor degree in Musical Arts (Piano Performance) at Michigan State University, studying with Panayis Lyras (the Silver Medalist of the Sixth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition).
Jen-Ru Sun gives numerous solo piano recitals and chamber concerts, including the premieres of contemporary music. She has four global published recordings (Naxos, Blue Griffin, Bel Air Music, and Centaur labels) with cellists Suren Bagratuni and Fedor Amosov, and also has collaborated with many outstanding international musicians. Presently, Jen-Ru Sun is teaching piano performance and chamber music as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at National Chiao-Tung University, National Dong-Hwa University, and National Tai-Tung University.
