Professor Tseng Yu-chung, an adjunct faculty member of our institute, has won [ACSM116 Prize] at the Japan Contemporary Computer Music Festival (CCMC 2025) for his work "Metascape of Bamboo" (announced on 24/02/2026). The winning work is one of a series in which the composer explores the soundscape of the bamboo forest by Emei Lake in his hometown of Hsinchu. The work attempts to express the beauty of the bamboo forest's illusory realm where real and illusory sounds alternate.
