The International Electroacoustic Music Competition Musica Nova 2025 is jointly organized by the Czech Electronic Music Association, the Czech Music Committee, the Academy of Arts, the Music Information Center, and Czech National Radio.International Electroacoustic Music Competition. It attracts numerous top talents in the field of electronic music each year and is currently one of the most competitive international electronic music composition competitions. The competition is divided into Category A – Electroacoustic Music and Category B – Instrumental and Electronic Media.
The organizers recently announced the winners. Professor Tseng Yu-chung of the Institute of Music, standing out from 94 entries from 24 countries, won the First Prize in the "Instrumental and Electronic Media" category for his work "Fantasy Journey of Time" for flute, AI music and electronic music.
