Encounter and Exchange: Music, Culture and Technology

We are honored to invite renowned American ethnomusicologist  Professor Philip Bohlman to our university for an interdisciplinary exchange and in-depth dialogue with our faculty and students on the subjects of music, culture, and technology.

This event will be conducted in two parts:
In the morning, Professor Bohlman will deliver a keynote speech, sharing his insights in the field of technology in relationship to world music. In the afternoon, faculty, students and alumni will present their research topics, followed by Professor Bohlman's commentary and in-depth discussions with the presenters and respondents.
