Congratulations! An-Ting LEE's work "Prometheus", a graduate student majoring in electronic technology and music, was selected for NYCEMF 2025 New York Electronic Music Festival. (Instructor: Professor Yu-Chung TSENG).

 

I. The Creatures of Prometheus

The front is some concrete sounds, simulating the scene of Prometheus creating humans. The electronic sound in the back which is a paragraph composed of "do" and "de", and is composed of The Morse code is arranged to form these words: Artifical Intelligence, Cognition, and Perception.

II. Prometheus the Fire-Bringer Using crescendos and decrescendos to create Prometheus's nervous mood when stealing the fire. The opposite grainy sound represents his persistence in getting the fire at all costs.

III. Prometheus Bound

The vocal is contrasted with many noise elements, representing the pain of Prometheus being tied to the Caucasus Mountains. The vocal represents Prometheus' sacrifice.

IV. Prometheus Unbound

This scence repeats the electronic material from the previous chapter as an auxiliary.The human voice represents that Prometheus has experienced a long period of torture and was finally released and regained his freedom.
